We have lots of snow, probably still six inches in the garden and it's started falling again, pretty cold too -6*c, have a pan of lentil soup on its so thick it will still to your ribs:)

I have just bought some lentils this morning, going to make lentil and tomato soup :)
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

I spent a fortune yesterday. Well about £30, which feels !like an Elite fortune!:D

Got lots of posh crackers for cheese (dated into 2019) in Aldi - perfect for hampers MrsMac - £1.99 down to 29p. Also their Christmas tree boxed fudge down to 29p. Also found three nice 'Ho Ho Ho' wooly hats down to 29p and a hot water bottle with a red knitted cover and stag design - not sure of original price but now 99p.

Then in Poundworld's 75% off sale got shed loads of new Christmas decorations for school (including inflatable reindeer, snowmen and Santa's), Christmas colouring & sticker books, and a good number of mugs and those glasses with lids and straws - which with sweets or hot choc mixes will make good tombola prizes.

Stood next to a couple of guys debating which mugs to buy for £1.00 (SEL) who were eternally grateful when I pointed out they were now actually only 25p. :)

Oh no I missed it :( The weather here has been quite bad and am reliant to some degree on DH taking me out

The council car park which leads to the shopping centre has still not been cleared So between my already dodgy legs and the bad bruising from the accident I stayed away

Will try Aldi in the morning then back to the shopping centre as it will be much quieter

    Thanks anyway

Have had good whoopsies at A's for the last 2 Sundays., went today, similar time, really busy, no sign of the whoopsie ladies and the snow started coming thick and fast. Bought the essential veg and came home. Just made it down the bank in time it seems, nothing moving now.
A good 6 inches here too.

On my iphone this morning it said that I could not store any more photos without deleting some - so this afternoon I made a start - getting rid of screen shots, receipts, SEls etc, I take photos of everything and anything.
I then noticed that if you lift a photo up sometimes it gives you the location where it was taken and also a map, not always - and not always accurate as my garden stretches two house in either direction now.

I told OH and Errant son about my new discovery and they both looked at me as if I'd lost my marbles ...

Has this always been the case with photos on iphone or is it a recent invention ... sometimes I cant believe how little I do know, either that or my brain s also reaching capacity

Hello mrsmac, it does look lovely but not good for travelling, my dd went home to skye yesterday which is just as well as awful today, shame it will be another challenge for dh to get to work tomorrow.
mhoc you had me looking at my phone pics, mine don't do that maybe mine is too old.:)
