If you only bought ten strawberry she was right.

You should have bought a total of 12 yoghurt 11+1. If you only bought 10+1 you paid £7.48 for them.

drat - I said I'd got it all wrong today ...

  • I think bristol must be the only snowless place in the country! We just have rain. Freezing cold rain that stings like a bee when it lands on you and renders you unable to achieve anything outdoorsy because it's so blinkin wet and cold and miserable ::rotfl:

    It's the same in Southport, I can't decide which I'd prefer as I don't like either :(

I know this been answered but when I saw this question, my initial response was that I bloody well hope not - bristol to Edinburgh is a long way to go to go one stop on a train :rotfl::rotfl:

This is not a new thing.

If you go to search at the top and type in something like "cat" or "garden" it'll bring up pics with those things in. Type in food it'll bring up pics with food and so on :)

If I type in cat I get pics of Cadiz and cathedrels and garden gives me certain gardens I've been to but not general garden pics and food produces nothing at all :(

I've just been on Years and it gives me a lovely collage of where I've been for the last 4 years :)

On my iphone this morning it said that I could not store any more photos without deleting some - so this afternoon I made a start - getting rid of screen shots, receipts, SEls etc, I take photos of everything and anything.
I then noticed that if you lift a photo up sometimes it gives you the location where it was taken and also a map, not always - and not always accurate as my garden stretches two house in either direction now.

I told OH and Errant son about my new discovery and they both looked at me as if I'd lost my marbles ...

Has this always been the case with photos on iphone or is it a recent invention ... sometimes I cant believe how little I do know, either that or my brain s also reaching capacity
    always .

Mine is just an iphone 5 I think, nothing fancy and I am resisting any updates for now as its working fine and last time was bad enough.

It just makes you wonder what else our phones do that we don't know about ...

do you know about "find my car"

i use this function when parking in a different town. i search for a free parking space in the back streets. then i wonder around town or whatever else i got to do. i dont need to remember my way back to the car as the phone knows its location.

Not me, and I didn't cancel so should get mine when the packaging becomes available. Mmmmm, we'll see.
I got an email saying delivery Saturday But the parcel didn't arrive. I contacted the delivery company and they said it was damaged so get back in touch with Adnams, I e-mailed them but haven't had a reply yet.

    Give over:rotfl:

    Nothing in mine.

I had an apg not working correctly and all the staff were lovely. Customer behind was very rude asking what we were doing as he had already waited 4 minutes

The muttering from the staff was not to be repeated :rotfl:

Just back from my Mums. DS was cooking lunch and we had one of the Finest pork joints I bought a couple weeks ago for £2.69 down from £17.69. She did it with lovely roaster, carrot and swede mash, leek and cabbage and roasted parsnips. Followed by Apricot frangipane tart and ice cream. Best bit of meat I have had in a long time. Her hubby and her are doing meat free Jan so they had salmon and Sweet potato fishcakes with homemade tartare. My DD had that too as she doesnt eat meat.
A lovely sunday lunch now home to a quiet house and an evening of tv. Weather foul here

One small problem I lifted up the mattress of my new ottoman bed this morning to put some bedding away. It was making a strange hissing noise and it appears to be one of the struts that oil os coming out of and its all over one of my best pillows thats stored there. Will ring the shop tommorow and not too worried as they are an independent shop in Bath called Silcox , Son and Wicks and there service is exceptional!!
