What do the gritters do when they are not gritting?

There must be a huge amount of money tied up in them by local councils.

Do they have a summer job? Or do they stand idle for the majority of the year?

So who got what at Mr Shoes yesterday? I’ve not read back yet so am in the dark, I’ve never been to one of their big sales . These days due to my mobility or lack of I don’t think I’d withstand the crush if there were one :rotfl:

Still no snow here, no rain but the sky is white, could be a sign. I’m rather disappointed if truth were told as I love seeing fresh white snow, untrodden white snow, ahhhhhh.
