Evening all, TM I respect your feelings on this and as found in law what he did was unacceptable, but:o if my surgeon had tattooed my transplant I honestly wouldn't of cared and if a transplant became available right now and he was the surgeon available I wouldn't turn it down.:o

A very dear friend had a liver transplant in that same hospital. Since having her new liver she now likes peas

Oh Sue, we are here, but I guess not physically close. Don't weep, your mum would if she could.

Thanks pippo, hope you find the holiday you were after at the right price.

Sorry for the lack of thanks but I do appreciate all your kind words.

All went well at the Docs, and I think I've adopted the attitude of don't give a **** at work.

I swapped desks, literally in 3 mins flat pulling the required cables out as I went. And I also took the Birthday card back in to work to advise the pair they had not signed it. Yes it's made things worse, but am I to blame, no xx

My knees are trembling cjj, good on you girl xx

Too often these days theres the bully girls mentality picking on a person whom they decide is weaker against the mob. Shame on the little school girls they should be back in the classroom, not an office grrrrr:mad:

Hillbern posted this earlier in Techies lair. Rather a brusque reply and no help. I hope she doesn't mind me bringing it here to see if any of the lovely Elite can help her. Thank you xx

don't know if anyone has any ideas? I have an hp laptop, probably 10 years old...the screen has gone black, earlier today I could put in my password then I was okay for about an hour, but now I turn laptop on and I have a black screen and that's it...
is it time to replace or is there anything I can do to put life in the little old lady ?

I got an Acer Aspire for Christmas, not my choice, but I'm sure it will be fine for what I want it for :o Trouble is, do these machines have documents please? It seemed that Microsoft wanted to know if I wanted to buy

Not too bad at all!! If you were like me you you spent that at least each week BE.. Before Elite!!

When did (E) son get back? must have missed that!

Errant son was away for a month and got back on January 3rd - we were away slightly before him, end of November so in total nearly 7 weeks. He was back at work on the 5th so it was very much back to normal straight away.
He was a bit quiet the week he came back - combination of tireness, jet lag and general post hols and January blues.
But then he got his ooomph back and has been keeping himself fully busy, fillling the gap until he gets his start date- working most days and then mending and fixing his van, then today he sorted his room out so you can now even see the floor. He has a couple of days off this week so he is going to do some walking and mountain biking etc in the wilds of Wales ...
