I graduated in 2014 with a degree in Computing in Business. I worked for a company (who provide tills for A of all things) while studying for my degree, and they taught me what I didn't want to do...
Instead, I went to work for myself. Brother is now in the second year at Uni studying Psychology I confronted him at the fact like many students he's just using it to bide time to figure out what he wants to do - I told him we never really work out what we want to do LOL.
OH has a degree in historical costume - once again, does nothing to do with the degree in work. Either way, I hope these examples will show you that DS will no doubt figure his path and that it might not always be what's been studied. The job market should pick up post-Christmas now too :-)
When I went to school.....Long time ago now...:rotfl:....All I ever wanted to do was leave and start work....No one ever mentioned anything about Uni....There were only Tech cols as I remember when I was younger...I wasn't too impressed with school..I just wanted to work..:rotfl:...Hasn't done me much harm...I went from feeding chickens, window cleaning, bar/waiter service, Royal Navy, Bakery, Thatching roofs, building trade, Clerical work...30yrs in the constabulary, built two houses and renovated 3 others...amongst other things...I look back now and wonder where the time went....:rotfl::rotfl:...I still don't know what I want to do......Currently working with an electrician as and when....Gives me something to do as I don't want to give up work......I hope I am still able to be doing something in my 70s...which is a long long way off yet....:rotfl::rotfl:[STRIKE]68 [STRIKE]Mouses[/STRIKE] [/STRIKE]

Went to T for Kallo - my little one doesn't stock it.
Galaxy salted caramel cake bars now 50p dated mid-Feb
Ditto Cadbury cakes
Various bagged Xmas cookies 21p
Smarties large tubes 50p
Thorntons caramel squares 50p
Got a lovely platter of Finest turkey and roast ham slices with slices of chestnut and cranberry stuffing for 45p, just had some for lunch, gorgeous, enough in there for 5 more lunches for me.
Smoked salmon rtc £1
Whole sides fresh salmon were rtc but it worked out cheaper to get 2 x half sides rtc.
Lots of deli meats, Italian, Spanish etc, all rtc to £1 in situ, so much stock that they cannot move it, so it's worth having a good browse of the normal fridges, I've never seen the rtc fridge so full.
So it's salmon tonight with one of my 1p lemons...“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -
