I am on my second month of tap n win using same card. My phone is prehistoric but kids have there own ones and all have nfc thing on. I used sons phone last month, i am now on dd2 phone now using the same bank card. Only thing i can see that was different was the google acc on each device as they have their own emails/accounts. I just downloaded the app and set it up same as before, got a registration code from bank and all set up. 1 x 3 m&s and 2 free cokes today x

It is a real mystery but there has to be some logic in there if we can crack it - the only thing the same in my case was the phone.

  • I do agree the foot in the door is the most important, DS1 took the first job out of desperation - but it worked well.

I have sent him a message asking him which sites he used and which ones your son should use.

    Fingers crossed with the interview

    :):):):)

Thanks Ssm......My son uses Indeed and Reed for his CV.....Good news is that he has progressed from the first round....He had a 40 minute Skype interview with a company called iesa....He will have another interview in the coming weeks and if successful a final interview....Fingers and toes are crossed for this one...This is a big company and would open lots of opportunities for him...

Agree - its that first foot in the door that is the hardiest and then once you are in you just have to convince companies how much of a valuable asset you are to them.

Eldest child in desperation just started out as a 3 month temp working the IT phones -it was not a lot to do with her business degree and masters. But she made such an impression they took her on permentantly and it lead to many promotions and job role changes and she is still with this firm now.
Errant son was applying for jobs after Christmas in his final year, 2nd interview at Easter, the company were so impressed with him he got the job and he then had 6 weeks to finish his final dissertations before he started (and he would still have been with them if he had not got a serious case of itchy feet :( )

That's good mhoc.....There is an opening for everyone somewhere...Its just a waiting game and keep trying......We all want the best for our kids.....:D

Wishing your son all the best :)

I am trying to motivate my 18 year old ds at the moment who is not having much luck and just had a letter come through the post today that has squashed his future of ever joining the military, he’s more concerned about that then he is his heart problem
