So Glad you got home Snap....your posts sounded so stressed yesterday.

day 1 of 30 and I am sure there will be plenty of thoughts going forward for the continuing 29...in support of your sister, and to support you too....

I hope you had a lovely family christmas and as I like to refer to them "as you would have wanted".....
and that the new year brings you and your family the peace you all deserve to enjoy life.

I have been meaning to ask how the house move is going...I am in awe of the way that your parents seem to be embracing the move from somewhere that clearly not only houses many physical artefacts but so many memories too....

    :D Thank You LEJC :A

Yes my Mum is quite excited about clearing Dad's 'stuff' :o

that was unkind and unnecessary. :(

I have looked after this thread for years. However if you want me to go, just say.

BGs will not go against each other. It would have to be discussed.

RF, I am sure it wasn't meant like that, but I just want to say that the majority of us know how much effort you have put into keeping this thread going over the years, we really do appreciate it, thank you for keeping our home going xx

Perhaps we all need to take a deep breath, count to 100 and leave any argy barging about thread length until the New Year. Feelings are too fraught at the moment after the sad news and the last thing we need is ill feeling. Let things settle.

Why don't you put said sim in your phone and ring someone else mobile and number will show up for you :)

Think there has to be money on it for that.
  • I have a bit of an odd situation going on at home - regarding food.

The more food stocks I have in, the less I actually want to eat. I don't know why it is, I've noticed it for a couple of Christmases now, and it's starting to feel a bit weird.

I had Xmas lunch on Xmas Day, and it wasn't a huge amount, then same again on Boxing Day. Yesterday all I wanted was egg on toast, and today I've had a bacon sandwich. I've eaten two mince pies in 4 days, and that's it, no cake, no pudding, no chocolate log. A handful of cherry liqueurs, and that's been it.

Certainly something to bear in mind for food shopping for Xmas 2018.

it wasn't dismissed because we weren't asked. It was just a suggestion, a thought, as far as I can see.

I think this has come to the fore now because of the way you are feeling in reaction to the sad news. That is understandable.

But altering the improvement made to the Elite thread/s won't make any difference. Each new thread could still be deleted by disruptive sources - every day or every time a new one was started if they felt so inclined - so it really may not achieve what you hope yet would be logistically difficult and very time consuming.

I know this is not what you want to hear, sorry.
You know I respect you. But it would achive
As once a new thread was started the old thread would then b preserved.
But myself is happy with the everlasting thread that collapses at about 88000
