We have priority pass as a benefit of our bank account. There is no way of pre-booking lounges. It's a real bug bear that they are often full, with a queue and those that have pre-booked are moved to the front . I wouldn;t mind if there was an option to pre-book but there isn't. If it wasn't that most of the time we are in the BA lounges I would make a complaint to the bank that a benefit isn't being delivered.

Sorry that you have been unsuccessful, silvercar. It is possible to pre-book the lounge, it is on No 1's website. Just put in your date/flight time and voila!

Try this link. Put in your airport and click on Priority Pass,
    https://no1lounges.com/reservations

    RESERVE A PLACE
    Choose your lounge access scheme
    DINERS

    DRAGON PASS

    INSTITUTE OF DIRECTORS

    LOUNGE CLUB

    LOUNGE KEY

    PRIORITY PASS

Let me know if you would like a £5 referral ;) Includes fast pass for security as well.

The Clubrooms are included at Gatwick north and south as well.

For just £5* per person, enjoy a guaranteed reservation at a No1 Lounge and Premium Security – locations include Gatwick†, Birmingham and Edinburgh. At times we are very popular, so this is the perfect way to ensure we know to expect you – whatever your reason for travel, we've got the perfect spot for you.

You may still access the lounge without a reservation, however, please be aware that entry is subject to available space and cannot be guaranteed.

At Heathrow Terminal 3, the Travel Spa and showers can also be booked at an additional cost^.

*This is an additional fee, the visit itself will be processed in the lounge on arrival. If, under the terms of your membership, you have an allowance of free visits, or your visits are paid for, these will also be deducted in the normal way.

† Priority security is not included at Heathrow.

^ Showers can only be booked in the lounge and the charge is £10.

    Hope that helps. x

DD has opened her post to find a large PPI cheque.

What's interesting here is that this is from a claim made several years ago, which was disallowed at that time. But she saw something online recently and decided to resubmit it - with a very fast, very positive result. :D

A lovely Christmas present for your DD, Seren.

    For your information:
  • For years now, I haven't blanched veg before freezing. :o

I've noticed fresh parsnips which have been frozen actually roast better, but I never knew there were reasons to blanch them first. :o

Pigs in blankets were prepped and put in freezer last week. I use normal size good-quality sausages, cut in half, and each half is rolled in a rasher of streaky bacon. I noticed the other day in MS they also sell 'jumbo' versions (at a horrendous price) but when I looked closely they don't look as generous as mine. :)

Seren, I am thinking that my old mortgage might qualify for this. Do I just Google, or can you send a link please? Don't worry if you are hassled! I don't want to add to the pre-Christmas stress.
