although DS did mention creme de banana the other day.....apparently good in cocktails (a june bug)....but I can only seem to get it online at amazon or somewhere called the drinks supermarket....I think he will have to do with the bottle of midori we have instead ...melon is much more healthy than banana IMO!

No help here, the last time we bought that (for cocktails, it is apparently really good in them, though I really do not know lol) was when we were overseas, a while ago, I cant even remember where we were but it was probably for sangria so maybe some Spanish place lol. Have to admit I will have the odd sangria, but not had one for years.

I should also say I do have a glass or two of wine with Sunday lunch. But one thing few people believe is I have NEVER been drunk, neither do I intend to ever by.

G, I, N candles from Asds. Gin crisps from Morribobs. A lemon & cucumber. A selection of gins. Some nice one serving bottles of tonic (bit late to be ordering the free glasses from fever tree) Some nice glasses. Some gin botanical herbs/spices. A nice glass. Her favourite snack that she likes with gin. Gin balls.

You forgot the Thorntons Gin Truffles collection! Thanks for the heads up the other week for the botanical gin. Same day as it arrived, my DD had a delivery sent here for her OH. She'd ordered a bottle of ShortCross Gin from Fortnum and Mason's.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
There will be blind tastings here on Christmas day.

As for chocolate, I overbought on the Thorntons so we have a box in the store room, and I have won a box of Lily O'briens on the advent too, that is more than enough for us!

Did you receive your Lily O'briens? I'm still waiting for mine to be delivered.

Anyone reading this would be forgiven for thinking that we are all alcoholics on here.

Just checked my amazon to see how far along my order from yesterday was. Amazon now give you a map of where the delivery van is but as a sleigh rather than a white van :D

Apparently he is on the A500 but going in the wrong direction, heading towards Stoke rather than going towards me :D
The Santa-nav must be not working :rotfl:

I ordered from Amazon just before 7 last night and the parcels arrived just after 9. A lot of my prime stuff has been arriving late. When I contact Amazon, they extend the membership by a week/month depending how late the order arrived. Have a very long membership this year.:D

Good on you Enterprise,I admire your stand on it all.....I think even during my generation drinking has become more socially recognised than perhaps it was for my parents and now it's all too easy to have an odd glass here and there....doesn't always make it right but as I say it's become acceptable.

So....enterprise has never been drunk....what has everyone else never done.....?
I've never had either a KFC or a subway...
My DS has never had a filling (he's almost 20)....and my OH...well I haven't a clue about him and things he wouldn't admit to...

Couldn't make it up. Alcatel droid phones. Ordered one from Tesco Direct. Waited 30 days and went to claim cashback from Alcatel (I presume the claim window does not open for 30 days so that you can not purchase, claim then return) and was asked for invoice. Sent order details which is the only thing available on the Tesco website and no paperwork comes with the delivery. Alcatel have come back saying this is not a proper invoice. Looked online there are instructions on how to print an invoice from Tesco direct but the button is not there on the website so called up. Apparently the option to print an invoice disappears after 28 days due to hrmc rules although this is not made clear any where online or in the ordering process.

So I am now in limbo between Alcatel who want an invoice or order documentation and delivery note (Tesco don't do delivery notes) and Tesco who say they can no longer produce an invoice.

I wonder if I can claim from my credit card company? Can't even return the phone now as it is of course outside the Tesco return window.
    I think....
