  • I will do it tomorrow morning as tonight i will spend a lot of time to find any supportive clues in the CoP.
  • Sorry for being away for a few days. I received a letter on Friday morning which is backdated (16th October) and after thanking me for getting in touch with UKPC appeals, they state that i should contact them within 14 days of the letter's date (which obviously is impossible) with the driver's name, and they mention some legal stuff as well... Obviously they are scammers! They dated the letter on the 35th day so they are legally covered, and sent it after 1 month so i am out of the 14-days period (i wouldnt of told them who the driver was anyway)

Ignore that standard fishing exercise. Sit tight. The final reply to your appeal will follow shortly.

  • I read other threads and i understand this now. I can always complain to BPA and tell them i havent received an answer within 35 days. This letter is a scam on its own. Has no stamp or any tracking number. They wouldnt be able to prove they sent it, would they?

The BPA doesn't expect their beloved fee-paying ex-clamper motley crew of members to prove posting.

The BPA does expect the public to prove posting (of an appeal, if a complaint is made)!

  • I guessed so. Lets wait for the POPLA code. In the meanwhile, any further useful advice that you might have for me? :)

Prepare evidence to add to a POPLA appeal. Use their own pics of the unreadable signs, do a screenshot now, and it can then be embedded in the appeal later.

If it's a residential car park, dig out the lease to prove primacy of contract.

If it's pay & display, get a photo of the P&D machine proving nothing is said about £100 fee.

COMPLAIN TO THE RETAILERS IF IT'S A RETAIL SITE!! NOW!!

    etc.
