UKPCA PCN with invalid REF

Options
Hi,

I have been given a PCN at a retail car park by UKPCA for not parking within marked bays. I have gone through the Newbies FAQ thread but when I try to start an appeal on the UKPCA website it says "Unable to find Parking charge". Now I am not sure if I should go ahead and appeal via a letter in the post or just ignore it. Can someone please advise?

Thanks

No, they have got car reg fine and i have checked the ticket reference number again but it just says unable to find xxxxxx and reg xxxxxxx so I am not sure where to go from here. Even if I wanted to pay them i couldn't!! So i don't know if i should ignore it or will i start getting letters and lose my right of appeal as well.

You are trying too soon, then. NEWBIES thread tells you to IGNORE the 14 day 'discount' rubbish.

I would post 1st class on day 25 and go to the PO, get a free certificate of posting. ONLY if the online appeal doesn't work.
