    Metro Bank said they did not issue a new card nor any new letters. I also recently received the closing letter from Halifax. So I presume I am okay and that my mail has not been tampered with. Still find it very strange they did not send a new card nor did they send a letter confirming the closure, but anyway moving on with life :)
