They have had a rewards voucher and points problem recently. They allowed people to order vouchers, cancelled them, promised to return points at the same time and didn't. I think they have refunded the points now, after the members kicked up an understandable fuss, but most vouchers are out of stock. The Paypal option seems the only way to get paid for the surveys, with any reliability. This means having to reach a 185,000 points threshold first though. You would have to spend a lot of time doing surveys for that.
  • What can you do if you don't have/want a paypal account and don' want the few rewards they still [allegedly] have. If Toluna is completely unreliable, should people be warned not to register?

I recently redeemed my points for an Amazon voucher, I waited a few weeks, and then my order got cancelled with my points going back into my account. I then used my points to get a flexecode voucher instead. I have now recieved it and I redeemed for an Amazon voucher. I hope you all manage to sort your accounts out.

I think Paypal reward is 185,000 points. Otherwise, most of their other vouchers are out of stock. Hope you get something.
  • Yes, happens a lot, and not just Toluna. Tried contacting them, but if they do reply, it's 'your query has been sorted.....'
They really seem to be getting worse - won't be doing their surveys until my outstanding reward arrives - or they get Amazon/M&S back
  • Hey Guys

Has anyone ordered any vouchers from toluna lately? I ordered some amazon ones in April and still waiting for them to be redeemed. Does anyone know how long they are taking at the moment. I tried to email their customer service but juts got a generic response of I will get it soon. To me 8 weeks or even 10 weeks isn't soon when places like Valued can get them out in less than 2 minutes!

Like yourself, I ordered vouchers (flex-e-codes) in April, and they are still being processed.

I submitted a ticket during mid June, and their reply states -

We are aware that there is a delay with processing our vouchers and that this is heading to be over the suggested processing time. Please rest assured that this matter is being looked into with priority. Our Incentive Team is trying to process any outstanding vouchers as quickly as possible.

We don’t want you to become worried that the reward has been forgotten. Unfortunately, I can't give you the exact date when the batch will be sent, but I do assure you that the voucher will be processed, as soon as we possibly can.

Toluna take the longest time of any survey company to process rewards. They usually guarantee supplying rewards withing 6 - 8 weeks. Which is far too long! But when it gets to 10 or more weeks, it becomes unacceptable.

There is no apology in their response to my ticket. Eventually the reward will be processed, but they should be better organised.

It might help if you and other members also supplied tickets.

    Good luck
  • I did do a ticket but just got a generic response like you - Unfortunately if they cannot be bothered after 10 weeks once I have cashed out my last points I wont bother again, other sites are much more worthy of my time.

    I agree!

A while ago I ordered a Tesco giftcard, and waited a long while before it came. The last flex-e-code I ordered came within 4- 5 weeks, and I hoped this would arrive in a similar timescale.

There is no excuse for these excessive delays.
  • Still waiting since April - That is nearly now 12 weeks just hope it isn't like last Christmas where they cancel all the amazon vouchers.
