Hello, I would love to join in.I have just become debt free and looking for a fun way to encourage me to save save save. I have read through all of Sue's great 1st post about how the group works etc and counted 32 weeks/ 226 days until 1st Nov 18. I have decided not to set a goal or add up totals as I go along. I will enjoy not knowing or guessing by looking through the year. We have just emptied a large coffee jar so I'm off to seal it up...feeling excited cx

Hey all, been a while. Still potting away at the emd of each weel only as on maternity pay ( can't believe lo is 3 months old today already). My neaely 3 year old has his own little pot so he is happy.

Only skim read the last 3 pages - sorry to resd about your fall Sue.

I have tranferred £100 to my savings account,but put a note in the pot to show that total.My bank is 2 bus rides away,and doesnt have a coin counter,so I have been changing the coins to notes on a regular basis each month,to save a hefty coin build up.I have already saved about £19 since the clearout,and added £4.67 in silver today.:j:j:j:j
Add the £56 saved for my £2 coin challenge,and £100 of coins put into the credit union account,and I am doing exceedingly well in saving for Xmas,House and Home fund, and an Emergency fund.Great feeling!:j:j:j

I keep checking back everyday to see if there is any word from SUe.It has been a long time.I wonder if anyone is in contact with her in real life.I do hope everything is ok .

Hi all

I contacted Sue to see how she was getting on and received the following response. I told her we were missing her on here, but we were plodding along fine. Sue said she was happy for me to C&P her response to you all, so please see below.

Sadly I'm not at all well. The injury on my head has been inflamed for a couple of weeks and even the steroids they gave me haven't had any affect, it's very painful. Also one molar had to be taken out and is now infected so
I'm on 2 lots of antibiotics, plus one on the opposite side is aching terribly with no treatment until week after next! All he wants is to do root canal but I just want rid of it. I feel miserable!

Hubby is a gem as always, Lord knows what I'd do without him! Love to everyone and tell them I'll be back just as soon as possible.

If I hear from Sue again, I will let you all know.
