Rather than risk the wrath of Airlie Bird on the Regular Savings Account thread
Has anyone else not yet received their maturity proceeds?
I'm not concerned as I've checked the receiving account details are correct, just curious.

Mine has just arrived!! (sometime this afternoon - wasn't there a few hours ago).Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0

Mine arrived about 3.30 pm in my Santander current account. Already moved to Ulster Bank for 1.25pc. Needed to feed RSs in Jan and Feb. November RSs done and funds already set aside for Dec. Triodos Fixed Rate RS matures on 7 November, not renewing unless the rate rises from 1.75 pc fixed.0

I requested mine by a cheque and it arrived today.0

Puzzled - just checked online to look to withdraw the balance but it doesn't seem to be possible - do I need to send the savings book & a withdrawal slip ... receive a cheque back etc ?0

The online facility could only be used prior to when the account became an Easy Access Saver - up to 31 Oct. After that, closure can only be done either by post, including writing a letter I believe, or by visiting a branch, and payment can only be made either by cheque, transfer to another Leeds account or, very strangely, by CHAPS at a cost of £20. Not by BACS.milton1970 wrote: »Puzzled - just checked online to look to withdraw the balance but it doesn't seem to be possible - do I need to send the savings book & a withdrawal slip ... receive a cheque back etc ?0 -
Mine still hasn’t hit my nominated account. Time for a phone call.0

I was told that a signed letter was required, but it could be scanned and emailed rather than sent in the post.
Whether it works or not I can let you know sometime next week.
On the plus side, the maturity interest rate isn't bad (1.10%), so leaving the money in the account even for a few weeks isn't going to cause too much of a loss - unless you have a 'hole' to fill in a high interest account elsewhere.

Maturity funds were still not in my nominated linked Co-op current account this morning, so after double & triple checking I had input the correct details I phoned Leeds BS.
They have sent my funds to a different sort code, also used by Co-op bank:cool: but same account number. CS rep said their investment team, who made this mistake, want me to phone Co-op and ask them to sort it out.
Obviously, I declined to do this. Leeds' mistake, they must sort it. I can imagine how such a conversation from me might play out;) She has logged it as a complaint and promised to phone back. After the call I checked and the sort code/account combination is a valid account.
Going to give them another hour (3 in total) then phone and insist they pay my maturity funds today.0 -
