  • maybe too late, how about some fresh air, a walk in the park and a coffee and cake if she's feeling up to it? does she have a favourite place nearby you could go to

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Name Dropper Combo Breaker
Balm tissues for sure! (Lidl do lovely ones and much cheaper than Kleenex etc)

And "posh" paracetamol capsules that slide down a sore throat much more easily than the huge (cheap) round tablets.

Viruses tend to dull anyone's appetite but decent soft drinks will probably go down well, ask her what she likes, juice, squash etc.

Ask her if she would like you to help her to wash her hair. The worst thing about viruses is they make you all achey and "touchy" so sometimes a bath or shower can be unbearable. But all women hate having unwashed hair!

Change her bedsheets....temperature spikes make the bedding horrible but who wants to wrestle with a duvet when they're at death's door?

Hope she feels better soon! (And get some hand gel...you don't want to catch it )
