What little treats can I get to cheer up my lovely poorly daughter?

Hi
Some suggestions would be good.
It's just a virus apparently, doctor won't give her antibiotics.
She's off work, now I know she's unwell.
She never complains, if anyone is down/ill/fed up whatever, she's there making things better.
Going to see her tomorrow and I just want to spoil her, (on a budget).
Any ideas!
Thank you so much in advance x

Nice bar of chocolate, magazine, some food for her perhaps for the next few days.
Hope she feels batter soon, and I'm sure seeing you will be a lovely boost.Norn Iron Club member 4730 -

Homemade food for the next few days, in takeaway boxes she can just microwave. Bright flowers to cheer up the place. A pair of fluffy slippers maybe, or comfy pijamas, or maybe a new comfy blanket? Or maybe a very cheesy mug with "Mummy loves you" or something like that on it?0

You lot are brilliant,
Thanks for the replies x0 -
As above, food so she doesn't need to cook for a while.
Something against boredom, music, light reading, dvd- what does she use?But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

chicken soup in separate pots so she can freeze them and defrost when she's hungry (I'd say home made but guess you don't have time). And a pot of cream to add to it, just to make it even nicer. And some nice bread. And magazines.0

It depends on what is wrong with her, but I don't think you can go far wrong with bubble bath, her favourite biscuits, crisps or snacks, favourite tea or tea bags, magazines or a book, puzzle books or word searches, or snuggly pyjamas. If she has a cold type virus, perhaps some honey and fresh lemons, pain-killers and tissues with aloe vera in; if it's a sore throat, ice-cream or some bottles of her favourite soft drinks.
Here's hoping that she feels better soon.0 -

Thank you,
Starting to get a little list together now, thanks to everyone.
Tissues with aloe vera on the list x0 -
If it's sore throat / cough related, Throat Comfort Tea Bags from all good health food shops. With honey. I'm living on them atm.
Lip salve, and if bunged up one of those Vick things you stick up your nose, plus Karvol capsules that you put in boiling water and inhale the steam.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
A lovely new throw and her favourite bath soak would be comforting. I second the home made food, too, soups especially.Member #14 of SKI-ers club
