Well done all the losers. Congratulations SSM on being our SOTW.

Am still sticking to plan. Having spirits instead of wine is definitely good for saving syns.

Decided to come home late this afternoon having eaten out at lunchtime today and doing a bit of Christmas shopping this afternoon. Now only have another couple of presents to get. Be much easier if I knew what to get!

    Today's food:

B - none - we had a nice lie in until nearly 10 this morning!
L - mixed grill - I was good and swapped the chips for salad and gave DH my sausage
D - LO roast chicken, boiled potatoes & red cabbage

    HEA - milk
HEB - none yet but think I'll have some Ryvita & blue cheese shortly
Syns - low fat spread 1 syn; blue cheese 4 syns; pastis 7.5 - so still within syns:D

    Evening all
Anyone got any matchsticks for my eyes :D was up early again as OH at work early. Spent the evening cooking- making WW wrap pizza, pasties and overnight oats and washing up the resulting mess :D off to my uni ball tomorrow in my size 18 dress- I have a little thing that I feel really proud when I manage to dress entirely in clothes that aren’t from dedicated plus size stores and tomorrow night’s outfit is such- dress is from Quiz (although it was second hand, a bargain off Facebook) tights from M&S, coat and boots from Primarni. Pretty pleased with that :)

    Today’s menu:
    B: HEXB HiFi x 2, apple, water
L: 4 x Heck Thai Turkey sausages (2 syns) lean Bacon medallions, onions, peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes. 2 x Light and Free vanilla yogurts, Highlights Bournville sachet (2 syns) blackberries, HEXA Alpro choc soya drink + 1.5 syns.
T: WW wrap pizza (5.5) topped with tomatoes, tuna, onions, peppers, mixed herbs. Mixed salad, egg noodles. Water
S: Cup of veggie soup, bag of Wotsits (4.5)
Plus 2 advent calendar chocs (4)
    Syns: 19.5
    Night all xx

Just wanted to post the menu I ended up with today as I use it for my food diary. I didn't have lunch until 3.30, so 2 meals in fairly quick succession left me bloated. Hopefully it'll be better tomorrow. I've a dinner to go to on Thursday and my dress is quite slim fitting.

Have a great time at your ball MrsR . Another NSV not wearing plus size! Good luck with your lunch Nicki , hope it's not too synful.

    Today's EE menu :
B: NAS grapefruit, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: ham, chicken, LO veg, pickled cabbage
D: baked salmon, SW chips, asparagus, tomatoes, mushrooms, red onion
    Syns :2.5 for extra bread

Another week, and I am starting on Christmas parties and stuff, so going to have to be good. Also new drugs seem to be making me throw up a bit less, so going to have to really watch what I eat.

    Today's plan:
    Breakfast - porridge and fruit
    Lunch - Noodles
    Dinner - pasta and meatballs

    HA - milk and cheese
    HB - oats
Syns - none planned. Saving them for when I need them

Enjoy your uni ball tonight Mrs R.

Glad to hear the meds are helping a bit with the throwing up kathryn.

Have totalled my syns for this week so far and what a difference as have only used 70 and just today to go so changing to pastis from wine has definitely helped there.

    Today's plan:

    B- almond baked oats (HEB + 1.5)
    L - carrot & lentil soup
D - chicken curry made with LO roast chicken from Sunday with rice; may even treat myself to a mini naan if I can get some today when I'm out

    HEA - milk
    HEB - porridge
Syns - flaked almonds 1.5; mini naan 6.5?

    I'm playing that game too!:D

I reckon I had 26 spare syns for the 'guestimated' Christmas meal last Friday. I'd already accounted for the wine as I can do the maths on that!:D Probably not enough as although the portions were tiny and reasonably healthy, I had cheese and crackers afterwards and I know cheese is mega synful.:(

After WI tomorrow the same things starts again as I'm out tomorrow evening. I'm out Saturday too but I'm driving and hope I can pick enough healthy bits from a buffet to cope.

I think I'm just doing damage limitation until January.

    A couple of Christmas questions:
    • I want to make up Pigs in Blankets for the freezer. Any advice on tasty, low syn sausages? I generally eat Sainsbury's but thought chipolatas might be better.
    • Are you planning to have any Christmas treats or are you giving them a miss this year and staying within syns? I generally buy some chocolate marzipan and cherry liqueurs for me but have avoided it so far. What are the rest of you doing?
This is getting a bit long. Will post menu separately.:)

    Today's EE plan:

B: NAS grapefruit, HEB porage with HEA milk
    L: ham, cottage cheese, pickles
    D: SW Spaghetti Bolognese
    Syns: 6 porage, 2 syrup

I checked the freezer and only 3 slices of hand cut bread left so that'll save me a few syns next week.

Have a good break in Butlins lush. What a great idea to have a pre Christmas holiday. Well done on having a plan to cope with the catering. I don't have a problem with 'hotel' breakfasts. I steer clear of the sausages and fill up on beans, eggs and bacon and mushrooms. If there's fruit and SW friendly cereal as well then so much the better. Hash browns are surprisingly low syn as sometimes it's hard to tell whether bread is wholemeal or just brown.
