Other than ending up a lot poorer, bear in mind that giving up work will not make any of your conditions better - and the chances are that your health will deteriorate. Statistically, all the evidence says that people who are out of work are less healthy and die earlier than those in employment. Once you don't have to get up, how often will you get up? Are you planning on a lot of sofa- surfing, or will you get outside and into the fresh air every day - even in winter and/ or when the weather is rubbish? It is very easy to to have the best of intentions - but end up keeping none of them. Getting up, having routines, spending time outside, mixing with other people, having money to spend on a decent diet and the occasional treat or entertainment.... All of these things actually contribute to a healthier life. Work is good for you. Before leaping, consider the non-monetary angles too, because it's easy to get into a rut from which you can't escape. And you won't even realise you're in a rut within a short time.
