Three - when does my contract start?
Hi
I am moving from O2 to Three, buying a sim-only online plan. When does my contract (and therefore billing) start? Is it when I order the sim online? I am ordering it direct on the three website, having linked from a cashback site.

I think it starts when you place the order. When I last received a contract SIM from them, I was less than impressed that it was fully working as received in the post... I would have expected to have to phone them to activate it.
Sending a fully active SIM seems like very slack security, as does only needing a date of birth and post code to change a contract over the phone!0 -
I only just signed up and just found out that my contract started 5 days before I got my sim, I don’t see how they can charge you from the date you ordered as they can’t provide a service till you get your sim0
