Thanks Beanie and KC, I am trying. Just preparing to steel myself against the mid month lull when I have nothing left to pay ;)

I hate that bit. This month is worse because we were away in Scotland for the entire payments rush period so I missed out on the daily thrill of Tilly Tidying (sad, moi?). Now there is just the electricity bill left to pay. On the 23rd. You are not alone

TT are fun - my giddy thrill for the week remains the fact that V1rgin only accept £1+ payments, hence inflating my CC pay off :D

£19.02 paid off a CC (interest and cashback from the Spanish bank and Am@zon voucher shuffle on our new doorbell). Our Subscribe & S@ve items came today - great bargains, but I was very annoyed that the lid of a bottle of sun cream was smashed. They're sending a new one - might keep it as a spare if the pump actually works?

Had a fun day with DD. Lots of lounging around, playing and dress up (her not me). We went to Mr S and I bought her a lovely "Elsa" dress (Frozen) and she was absolutely adorable - Disney should have made that character a redhead! All went well until I made her take it off for dinner (so as not to ruin it) - 20 minute crying tantrum  :rotfl:

She's sleeping now and Mrs E is out, so I'm off to tidy up and have a wee cheeky takeaway on the couch with a beer - have a lovely evening all

Those cards will be gone in no time at all, Ed. :D

Anyway, there's nothing wrong with a bit of dress up ... Mrs. E. might like it. ;)

£1.33 to be paid off a CC this evening (only allowed one payment every 24 hours so have to wait).

Mrs E and I have a rare afternoon to ourselves - SIL is having DD for a few hours :j

Ps. I am the coolest guy ever - just realised that you can buy 25kg sacks of soda crystals on Am@azon Subscribe & S@ve :D

I'm guessing your water is a lot softer than ours. If not they are meant to be a good water softener and you could put a combination of white vinegar and soda crystals in to de-frag (technical term, that) your washing machine on the longest, hottest wash. Mind you our washing machine repair man suggested the best clean was a monthly load of white towels on the longest hottest wash, with half the detergent recommended, to get rid of any accumulating soap-scum.
