Argos TV warranty

It's consumer law, not a warranty in the way that you are thinking.0

'Bush' is not a manufacturer, it's just a brand name now owned by Argos. The TV could be made anywhere and is simply badged up as Bush. It will be of poor quality and spares will not be available once it's out of the warranty. Go to RS and buy a proper TV (Samsung, Panasonic, LG) with a decent warranty. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Some sets are specially made for supermarkets (check the model numbers which aren't available anywhere else) ,using inferior parts to lower the price. (This came from a Panasonic rep, who said the practice is common.)0
