If you've got a TKMAX near you its definately worth checking in there for saucepans, we've just picked up a Stellar stainless steel saucepan reduced from£60 to £25, they had loads of cheaper stainless steel pans in as well.
  • This is my 1st post on any forum ever! After finding it a couple of weeks ago I've managed to bag a nokia 7600 and the samsung for woolworths, timing couldnt be better with xmas n all. Best site ever. Saw these on bargain crazy - Tefal 5-Piece 4U Stainless Steel Pan Set Was £119 Now £59, look OK. I have shopped with Bargain Crazy loads a times, had 1 problem which was soon sorted no problem.

Not sure how to add link to BC site?

    ;)
  • Sorry me again. Should of said the pans are in the Price Plunge section. Usually need to be quick with these items as they quite often go as soon as added. :

Debenhams have got a set of pans in their sale £75 reduced from £200. Stainless steel. Seemed like a good buy to me.

Thanks for the tip (and Sheel for the link!) I have been after new pans for ages. These look perfect. Postage only 3.50 too! They're quite pricey for the individual ones via Amazon, so these look fab value.

The above reduced to 60 quid today ... rang customer services to see if they'd do the same for me. Said items I ordered already dispatched, but I could refuse them and get courier to return them. Meanwhile, suggested I order at reduced price. I thought that was such an honest and helpful answer that I will accept the pans at 75 quid ... after all still a great bargain!

Have to speak up for Le Creuset, I love mine. They are heavy, but not unliftable. The pans that have D handles (cocottes?) are brilliant - you can use them on the hob and put them in the oven. I bake cakes in mine.

They're not non stick but easy to clean for most things. Scrambled egg has to be scrubbed off but that was true of my old stainless steel ones.

I only have three but am thinking of getting another couple. I think they look great but that's just a personal opinion.

My pans (Debenhams offer above of 200 reduced to 60 quid) arrived last night. Heavyish, quality, just what the doctor ordered ... not that I'm a Doctor, but you know what I mean ;-) Recommended if they have any left. Delivery less that 4 quid.
