you need to bear in mind a few simple facts in this case of "yours"

YOU are not the person who received the NTK (your wife is)

YOU are not the person defending it (your wife is)

this has NOTHING to do with YOU

your wife (the KEEPER) is the person who should be dealing with this and any appeal is in HER name

bear in mind that the KEEPER was not the DRIVER, that is all anybody needs to know (so do not reveal who was driving TO ANYONE and edit post #1 accordingly)

I did not want to appear patronising but am setting out the basic facts so you fully understand them

this is not about YOU , its got nothing to do with YOU at all at this stage , apart from helping the keeper

we will help YOU to help THE KEEPER to deal with this

    2 things to do

    1) the KEEPER needs to submit that blue text appeal to MET (not you)

    2) the KEEPER needs to complain to Mickey Dees strongly and loudly and demand a cancellation , from them or from their head office or their CEO

please confirm you understand the above and that you realise its not you we need to help, ideally the KEEPER of the vehicle (your good lady) should be on here asking for help, taking the info onboard and doing as we say
  • That's brilliant, thank you all for that. the keeper has gotten the blue text appeal from the sticky guide and will send that off via their site.

    That is completely understood now.

Will also go into the Starbucks/ Mcdonalds and complain tomorrow.

    Shall be returning no doubt

    Thanks again

Make sure your wife gets the timing right (as per advice above and in the sticky). Ensure she follows the PPCs instructions for how to submit the appeal and the details she needs to provide (other than who the driver was). Otherwise they will ignore it on the basis that due process was not followed and you will risk not getting in a POPLA appeal where this can be kicked into the long grass.

See how easy this is once you start to get to understand what is needed to be done, and why. It will get easier as you get to know the lay of the land and what to expect. You will always get our support as long as you (for your wife) do your part.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
