I am looking to save costs and eat more vegetarian food so thought this would be idea as I'm not very creative in the kitchen.
It doesn't have to be vegetarian receipes though aslong as the offer veg is used.

Don't think I've ever seen one but if you head over to the OldStyle board, they'll be plenty of recipes and tips on there http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=330

I shop in Aldi and try to buy as many of the super 6 as I can, so a thread with recipe ideas sounds greatI am a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Wales, Small Biz MoneySaving, In My Home (includes DIY) MoneySaving, and Old style MoneySaving boards. I don't eat potatos but I have bought a pack for my son, obvious uses are jacket potatos to have with a variety of meals
I eat a lot of egg white omlettes so the mushrooms are great for filling with other veg or mozarella cheese
simple SC veg curry
fry onion and garlic
stir in some cumin seeds and mild curry powder, salt and pepper
chop up potato, butternut squash, persimmon and mushrooms into SC (add in any other veg eg courgettes for colour)
add the onion mix, use some boiling water to deglaze the pan
add a tin of chick peas
add lentils
add some veg stock
stir and leaveI am a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Wales, Small Biz MoneySaving, In My Home (includes DIY) MoneySaving, and Old style MoneySaving boards.
