'VW' oil into a Vauxhall?

    They both beigin with 'V' so should be at least be partly compatible.

    You just need to check what specs the oil you have meets and what spec the car needs; if they match then its fine.

    Look in the handbook for the car and it will show what oil specification is required.
    Look on the can of oil for that specification .
    If it is on there use it, if not don't.
