my point is that if you move those cones and park there, you are going against the written warning and SIP will issue a pcn

as they are IPC members you wont get a fair appeal , and eventually I believe they will take you to court

now you might win in court on a technicality , as keeper

as driver they can allege that you moved the cones and parked in a restricted area

now if you are up for being a test case , go ahead and move a cone or 2 and park up

come back and tell us what the judge says at the hearing in civil court , it will be an interesting court report to read, pay for a transcript so we get the full gist :)

    my opinion ??

"a fool and his money are soon parted"
  • Hah cheers redx, might risk it eventually, the parking here is a joke. To be clear though, only 3 spaces are blocked off with cones. I could just park in one of the others without moving any cones

maybe so, but wherever you park, even if its not those spaces, you always run the risk of a pcn

if you then fail to pay said pcn and ignore all correspondence , they may issue an LBC or an MCOL

if they do, respond to those last two

when you are in court (they have 6 years to do this) you can take it up with a judge , same as the fifty thousand or more similar unpaid invoices for pcn`s that end up with a court case being initiated per annum

so if may be a moot point , these cones and bays

ie:- you may be back for some other "infringement" when SIP want their xmas bonus and start agressive ticketing
