Talk Talk takeover of Tentel

After trying to transfer my phone line and broadband from Tentel to Now TV prior to the Talk Talk takeover, Tentel put a STOP or cancellation notice on my line effective 31/10/17. As a result NowTV cannot takeover the line or process my order as there is already a order on the line which would cause my Now TV order to fail. I spoke with a NowTV rep and for him he had already tried to deal with a number of customers from Tentel who tried to migrate and failed. They could process the order after 31/10/17 but not before. That would leave me without broadband and telephone for up to 2 weeks. So I thought, lets go back to Tentel and keep me going with them and transfer to Talk Talk when the time came. It gets worse: I went back to Tentel and asked them to keep me going so Talk Talk would take over my line, but they said they couldn't cancel a cancellation; they couldn't reverse it. Once its cancelled, it is cancelled. A new provider can only take over an existing active line or one that is shut. Mine is neither. What that means is I can only get a new provider after 31/10/17 when my line is cancelled. It takes a provider up to 2 weeks to take the new line over. I had an email this morning from tentel telling me the new provider could take over the line from 1/11/17, knowing full well it would be a dead line. As a result I will be without broadband and phone for up to 2 weeks. I run an educational business from my home and I am presently studying online for an Access to Higher Education course to go back to uni next year. I cannot afford to be without broadband for 2 weeks!!
Can anyone at all offer a solution to my quandary whether it be a temporary technical solution(mobile internet) or a legal one?
Thanks in anticipation.
