If you're looking at visiting France, but don't want to stay in Paris, it might be cheaper to fly to an airport close to where you decide to stay.

You've said that the cheapest flights are to Paris, but as Richard mentions above, which of the 3 airports are the flights cheapest to.

If you live in London it'll be quicker to get the train to Gare du Nord.

    For further research

    BVA - Amiens
    CDG - Meaux
    ORY - Br!tigny-sur-Orge

Always do a total cost comparison.

French trains are efficient and very fast, and can be affordable if booked well in advance. So anywhere in France is possible for you.

You haven’t said why you don’t want to stop in Paris ?
I’ve stopped with formule Une hotels which are very cheap and can be near the metro.

If you don't mind Ryanair then there's load of cheap flights all over the country.
