"If it's the same driver, your replacement will likely be going to the same address as the original"
Haha oh god don't say that!0 -

How fast do you walk - 2-3 miles in eight minutes0 -

I'd also be very interested to know why a) he didn't just deliver it to me. There was no attempted delivery at my address. And b) why it was left with a 'neighbour' who lives streets away.
Don't challenge the driver - in case he is being a little fraudulent - and Amazon Logistics/the delivery company start investigating... don't want to alert him0 -
I had a strange one with DHL this week.
Ordered parts from carparts4less,DHL attempted delivery Wednesday, but I was out,so went on the website to indicate a safe place to leave Thursday and had confirmation on-screen to confirm this.
When it didn't show I then went on the tracking to see it had been delivered ,even though I was home at the time and there was no sign of parcel, van or delivery card!
Then this morning I looked through the multiple e mail's they sent to discover it was sent to a gym in Norwich,15 miles away, with recipients name changed also!
So after a bit of detective work and with luck I was in Norwich ,parcel and myself were reunited.Gym staff were as bemused as me!0 -

Whoops fair point - brain was thinking of a general average walking speed rather than actual distance travelled. I am fast compared to average (friends sometimes have to jog to keep up and remind me not everyone has long legs) but still nowhere near 2-3 miles in 8 minutes :rotfl:You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
It is possible the driver pressed 9 instead of 8 ot 00

B is simple.
These drivers are paid to 'deliver'.
Theres no depot to leave items and they dont want to waste fuel coming back.
I’m going to take a punt and assume that your a postie..... what would your manager say if customers started saying that packets your ment to be delivering are not turning up?0 -
