So not actually a small hatchback then.
There's probably almost as much room in a Focus as there is in a Freelander, you know.0 -

How do you think all the thousands of families driving around in Focuses cope? You're not unique you know, they have prams and baby !!!!! too.0 -
First of all, thanks for acknowledging that you were completely wrong in regards to boot sizes between the 2 cars. Secondly, are you just disregarding the part where I said I take stuff to and from work as well? Do you know what I do for a living? Do you know what I take in the boot along with my child’s pram? Maybe you should have a think about that. The Focus (316 litres) is less than half the size of the boot in my current car (755 litres), I’ve already stated that I think I would struggle with the Focus due to everything I need to carry in the boot........I actually don’t know how you’re struggling with all this information0

Do you take your fianc!e and kid to work then? I don't know about you, but I find there's a lot of room in the back seat of my car.
You said you'd struggle with a Focus for a day - I don't think its unreasonable to suggest that for the short term, you could just make do, stop finding reasons to be awkward, and just move on.0 -
Could be worse. My SIL was given a ford ka as replacement for her landrover after a bump as it was the only courtesy car available at the time. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Hahaha you guys are unreal! Ok, yes, I need to take the pram with me, I don’t actually take it into work but I need to drop my fianc!e and daughter off at her mothers on the way to work every day.....hence the reason I take the pram! I also have to drop my son off at school in the morning so no room for a pram in the back seat! Even if I didn’t have a son to drop at school I wouldn’t like the idea of having a pram crammed into the back seats next to my baby just incase, you know, someone was to run into the back/side/front of my car and the pram harmed my child! You say I’ve to stop being awkward yet I asked a simple question and instead of giving me a yes/no answer you have proceeded to throw up questions as to why I can’t settle for a smaller car even though thousand of people manage with a pram and focus everyday, who’s the awkward one here? Hopefully you have another dilemma for me to answer, I do enjoy this! Haha0

I can appreciate that 100% and that's probably what I would have written to be fully accurate. It's just that previously on these boards people have complained about posters mentioning the ethnicity of people who have collided with them and I was wondering if it applied to sex as well. Woman driver tropes etc...0
