Carphone Warehouse Proof of Purchase
Hi,
I have recently changed bank accounts which gives me insurance on my phone if I can provide proof of purchase. Problem is I purchased my phone around 2 years ago and have lost the receipt.
I had the confirmation of order from Carphone Warehouse and when I called them they said I need to write a letter to their office in Southampton and provide a £10 cheque - has anyone had to do this? Frustratingly their website just says to come into store (no mention of the £10). When I asked for the T&C the call operator then told me I could pay another £10 for them to send it out to me.

The terms and conditions are almost certainly on their website. As for proof of purchase did you pay by debit card? That record might be suff icient. Have you tried going into store?0

CPW usually obtain details from scanning in the imei number. If they can print it out that would solve the problem.0
