Girlie Weekend Away

Hi
We live in Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland and are looking to book a girlie weekend away in January, there will be about 4 girls in total ageing from 19 to 28! We are looking to go somewhere in UK that has good shopping and a good nightlife! N can easily be reached by air from Northern Ireland!
Can anyone give us any ideas?

How about Glasgow? We (three sisters, two cousins) have a girlie weekend up there at the end of November/start December every year and do most of our Christmas shopping. It is a lovely city, beautifully renovated in the centre, with great shops and some nice restaurants.

    I'll 2nd Newcastle.

Metro Centre down A1 at Gateshead, Eldon Square in the centre of Newcastle and fab nightlife on the Quayside. What more could a bunch of girls want for a weekend away.
