No, and if I was concerned, I wouldn't belong to this forum as there wouldn't be much point0 -
It was suggested that Tesco tightened its rules for interest on a current account because too many were 'passing the word', but, in fact, just before temporarily closing to applications Tesco had peak time ads about its 3% promise .0

The Halifax reward would be one example. £5 really simple money to having to jump hurdles for a measly £3, or £4.50, or £6 depending however you look at it.
I expect the banks expect a certain number of people to exploit their products, like switching bonuses for example - they know full well some will take advantage, and will factor that in when they produce these products.I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0 -

There are no more than a hand full of regular posters that I have time for on the money pages, these are the people that can actually work it out for them selves as apposed to those needing a subtle hint and push in the right direction, These people are conspicuous by the absents on the Tesco thread.
I'm aware of things that very rarely if ever get mentioned on here and no doubt completely oblivious to many more.0 -
There is one product frequently highlighted on here which it is possible to make hundreds out of each month, perfectly legitimately, with a little trick. I've never highlighted it on here because as others have said the provider would close the loophole. Mean I know!0
