I received this email this morning. To say that I will now have to open another Lifetime ISA and wait another year to access the bonus money to buy a house is quite annoying to say the least. I plan to complain but doubt anything will come of it.

The year countdown does not restart when you transfer a LISA. The year is determined from when you first opened a LISA that you have held continuously., regardless of how many times it is transferred.
Did you really mean to put loose?
Lose: no longer possess, not to retain, unable to find
Loose: not firmly or tightly fixed in place
