Cook it let it go cold.
The fat will solidify on the top and is easy to remove.
If it is 5% fat there will be very little.0 -
Bruce Lee died because he didn't have an ounce of fat on him. True.0

I buy 5% mince because I don't like the taste of the fat. I bought some "5%" mince the other week and I could immediately tell that it was more than 5%. It could be that there has been a problem at the mince supplying factory that supplies all supermarkets, do 2 sisters food group process beef?0

I just buy the 20% mince, and then drain off all the fat as it cooks. How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)0

Is this a wind up? Do you even know what 5% would look like? You should get your facts straight before you come on here accusing a company without proof, that's called libel that could get you into trouble.
Wild guesses do not constitute proof, so you really need to get the proof before you accuse a company of misleading the public.0 -
There is a difference in appearance - have a look next time you're in the supermarket - between the 5%, 12% & 20% fat mince.0
