If you can push your budget a little bit (an extra £20), the Moto E4 plus might suit your needs. May not run the latest and greatest games, but should run everything else ok. The only downside is it probably won't get updated to Android O.0

Thank you
I also have an unlocked smart ultra 6 on ee. It's still running great. Try a factory reset not a refresh.Pants0 -

Couldn't agree more. For me, it has the two essential features I needed.
1. Decent RAM of 4G
2. Huge battery life. Twice the power of rivals and whereas my previous Huawei Pl Lite lasted a day, usually, the Motorola lasts two and a half days.0 -

Wonder how it compares with the moto g I have now0 -
The RAM is 2GB. Even on the plus version it's 3GB. Unless, that is, you're extremely confused about specs!Couldn't agree more. For me, it has the two essential features I needed.

The 5Ah battery on the Plus is huge, but these two excellent specs are badly let down by the fact that it's non-removable and that the screen res is only 720 x 1280 pixels.

There's Cubot X18 has good specs but not many sales.
The Moto E4 plus looks to be a good phone with good reviews0 -

If you don't mind getting a phone from China, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Global Version, 32gb or 64gb version.0
