Can I hope for BT to harass me like Sky do?

I am moving house, and have given BT notice to end my line and broadband connection.
I need a new one at the new house and with the prices of BT sport for non-BB customers, BT is probably where I'll end up staying at the new place.
Is there any history of BT offering worthwhile discounts to stay with them (I'd be moving from BB+ to Infinity1 and so would need a hub upgrade) or shall I just bite the bullet and order as a new customer now?
Any recent experiences?

Are you out of your BT contract if not factor that payment in .
If you move with BT then you will start a new contract .
BT usually do no more than send an email with an offer .
New house new customer to BT for new customer offers .0 -
How have you given notice to BT ?, if you have just asked them to stop (cease) your service at the old address, you may have to pay a broadband cease charge, if you use the home mover service presumably this wouldn't apply , but you may not qualify for any 'new customer' discounts.
I would call and get a comparison between the costs of ceasing at the old address and effectively become a 'new' customer at the new address, against the cost of a home mover, but if you have already been in touch and started the ball rolling on the cease option, you may not be able to change it.0 -
Hi,
Yes my contract happened to end at about the same time my notice expired so I ended up with about 37 days notice.
I thought the BT cease charge was no more....

That is good news, I wonder if it's just BT, or it's a regulatory requirement that all ISP's have to adopt...surprised they haven't made more of an announcement about it0

Plusnet's was still current, last week, though the T&Cs wording has been changed to make it less clear .It used to specifically include migration to an LLU provider.0
