Are FSA completely useless?

Is anyone else having issues with FSA? My partner and I put in a joint complaint about TSB. To cut a story short about them doing things that on their TV advert they said they wouldn't do. If you recall the advert. The comeback from FSA failed to engage the points that we had made they upheld that TSB had sent me an E-mail even when at the date in question they didn't even have my E-mail address.
Now here comes the one I'm really angry about. I had a packaged account with LLoyds several years ago. On reflection I was totally mis-sold a packaged account It was completely unsuited for me at the time. Reading here I discovered that I could make a claim. Now I shut my account several years ago after they sent a replacement out for a time expired card to an address I hadn't lived in for a decade along with several bankl statements and then blamed me. I initially contacted Lloyds to make a claim and received nothing no letter no e-mail nothing. After the appropriate time I contacted FSA on 6/8/17.FSA contacted me via Resolver on 14/8/17 asking me to fill out a 10 page questionnaire. I included a cover letter stating there would be no account at my present address and posted it to them On 25/8/17 they contacted me asking for my final decision letter. I had already told them I had no response from LLoyds full stop. Later that day they contacted me again saying Lloyds had told them they had no record of an account at my address! That evening I E-mailed them back via resolver to state I had answered that on the post I sent them first class on 22/8/17 and again noted the addresses I was at in the period they already had the account number. After not hearing anything I e-mailed on 19/10/17 asking if there had been any movement. Today I have had an E-mail stating they have contacted the business who have no records of an account at any of the address provided which is obviously untrue. I wonder how long I would have waited to be told this I will now have to search through mounds of documents to try and find a document relating to this if I hadn't bothered to ask. Are they really not able to check via the account number? Guess what I'm doing this weekend?:( Oh just found a statement from 2009 at an address I've given clearly marked as "Platinum" account.

The FSA no longer exist and didn't deal with customer complaints.
Are you sure you haven't complained to the Food Standards Agency?0 -
So they are completely useless, as they no longer exist. Sorry I'm old so I tend to stick to the old names. No my chicken isn't fowl enough to complain to FSA about. So in fact I should of said Financial ombudsman.0

The Financial ombudsman service (FOS) handle complaints about most financial institutions within the UK.
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) are the regulator of financial products and providers in the UK. The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) took over regulation of the consumer credit market from the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) on April 1st 2014.
You cannot complain directly to the FCA, if you have a complaint about a financial service or institution, you must do it through the FOS.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Sorry for the confusion I have complained to the FOS They are asking me today for the THIRD time information which I have already provided them with twice by e-mail and once by post with the questionnaire they sent to me.0

I'm sorry but you need to make your original post more readable if you want further help/comment. Break it up into bullet points or paragraphs.
Are you sure you didn't want to post this on the "Praise and Vents" forum?0
