Have looked everywhere and it doesn't appear you can have this, however I've had it on all my previous nokia's! Any1 know if there is an upgrade or summit?

Go to "Menu", "Messages", "Message Settings", "Text Messages", "Sending Profile", "Default Profile", "Delivery Reports".

Strange, is this on Vodafone by any chance? Maybe it's their own dodgy software...

The instructions I gave you were from my sim free/orange 6230.

It's an orange one I got from the CPW £4.99 deal.

It looks like the firmware on the phone has specifically removed this feature.

The phone definately supports it. Having a look at page 57 of the manual which you can download here but I noticed that it says network dependant.

I would take it back to CPW and tell them 'Delivery Reports' isn't listed but you contacted Orange and they said they support delivery reports and advised you to take it back to CPW for them to look into it.

I believe the main 4 networks (except o2) support delivery reports via this method. With o2 you have to type *0# immediately before you start writing your text message.

Would I be able to go 2 a nokia service shop & get them to add it in for me? Or just ask them to upgrade the software?

I'm not sure if its an software upgrade it needs or for them to go into the engineer menu of the phone and 'enable' this feature (assuming it can be done this way). Either way, take it a authorised nokia service centre (cpw are one) and just say to them it isn't listed but according to Orange they support this feature and Orange asked for me to bring it in to yourselves to sort it out!
