Which gift voucher is that for please? I've been on the site and am yet to find anything for £10.

Edit: Think I've realised my mistake, I was in the Gift Cards section instead.

For anyone else who may be interested, Love to Shop (the most widely accepted option as far as I'm aware) has a minimum £25 for a gift card or £10 for a gift voucher.

They all show in number of weeks payable. Does the option for a monthly DD appear later or are they weekly ones?

M&S DDs just need to be 'active' so they could be annual ones not monthly- that's the route I am using!!

    Thanks Katiehound

I already have a M&S credit card, so I could set up my Debenhams credit card to that account too. I use both infrequently.

Even though this is going in April 2018, we should still be allowed to set up new Direct Debits? No?

I got the message on both of my Tesco savings accounts:

We can't add your account at the moment because we need to do some extra checks. We'll contact you within five working days.

So I may have 8 accounts registered.
Are there limitations? Has setting up new DD's now stopped?

I have deleted 1 of the 8 accounts, but still get the above message.

I was told by Tesco a few weeks ago you were restricted to six internet savers so try deleting one more.

It's a security check to confirm it's an account in your name that you want a direct debit setting up on. You'll get a letter requesting an original statement.

Getting confused now.... have set up SW internet saver and nominated my M&S current account (Have a MS reg saver also). Do I now set up a direct debit FROM MS to SW (for the £10 minimum mnthly savings), or do that and set up a DD FROM SW TO MS ?? thanks

Is it strange to consider that if BoS etc. lose a lot of customers because of this, they might remove the need for the DDs?
Not strange to consider it, but the number of people using BOS Vantage as savings accounts with Tesco as the DDs is probably small (and most of them have posted on here).
Further, those customers are costing BOS money (they could borrow commercially for less), so losing them isn't going to worry BOS, and will free up marketing money to get more customers who will use BOS for all their financial needs.

Yes you are getting confused. The DD mandate has to be setup from Scottish Widows to pull monies from your M&S account. If you do it in the way that you kinda suggest, then it would not be a DD mandate, ie it would be a Standing Order and as we all well know, to our great pain, Standing Orders don't fulfill the DD requirement.
