Well, OH and I have not gone on our walk. But I am up at 11,000 on my own. OH slept through the house phone and his mobile when he was meant to come get me from the station so I had to walk home in the rain. Was not impressed.... He's still sleeping just now! Am getting him up in 5 minutes though. Enough is enough!
Did manage a loss this week, 0.8 kg, so not great but better than nothing (and better than a gain!) Got sandwich bits and will sneaky sneaky make them up tonight. OH still has no idea what is happening, am hoping it will be a nice surprise. Got his stickers as well so have written his card and put the stickers in with it. Going to pack the rucksack for tomorrow and sort out OH's clothes so he has something comfy to wearHe will no doubt be a grouch in the morning, even on his Birthday, so I want to make the amount of effort he needs to put into getting up/ out of bed as small as possible :rotfl:

Its brilliant that your sounding so chilled out now compared to how you were a week ago re the work crap.
Did you join a union????
Thanks for popping in on my diary btw.0 -
Re diaries,I too hope you continue yours.Dont know how I would categorise mine, seeing I got debt free after the first couple of weeks.:rotfl:I did warn the unwary that my diary would be very haphazard and that I would probably meander off in all directions, mostly not financial at all.My prediction definitely came true!:D:D:D0

Ice cream was lovely Toni'sfriend. Had a cone on the waterfront while people-watching. A wee boy had a cone too and he must have tripped or something... The scoop of ice cream just splattered all over the pavement and he was left holding an empty cone!
Had a really great day yesterday. Got up at 6 to blow up balloons then hung up a birthday banner. When I came in with the cake OH was awake and watching Still Game  I actually don't think I've ever even seen him awake that early! I think it was all the excitement
Did presents in bed and ate some cake (did not log on myfitnesspal :rotfl:) then set off. Got to Largs and then got the ferry across which OH was extremely excited with as he's never been on one before! Was a little colder than I anticipated it would be but was a lovely day all the same and pretty inexpensive.
Yeah Scott am feeling a lot better. Mostly just happy it's over but also pleased at the result.... 6 months doesn't seem as scary as 12. I did join the Union... They weren't able to help this time but I will stay a member anyway. It's £7 a month but worth it I think.
Haha don't worry Dusty I will still be here just plodding along (always plodding). I love all the different directions your diary heads in during your fortnights
Got paid today... There's always so much anticipation for it and I feel great for about 5 minutes then it quickly dissipates as I move everything where it needs to go. Money sitting in dd account ready to go and some spending money transferred to my Monzo. Paid off the HSBC overdraft again as I'd sunk into it last month. Am going to have to be super strict this month as I don't want to go into it again.
Not got the deposit money back from old flatmate but think when I do I will need to keep some of it for spending money. We'll see how it goes though. Ideally I can pay off the Santander card fully but at the same time don't want to spread myself too thin and end up in the overdraft again. Decisions, decisions, decisions!!
No plans this evening. Will just tinker with my spreadsheet and watch netflix with OH I think. Was going to go a walk but a feeling a bit unwell (shivers/ sore throat/ congestion) and don't want to risk it developing into a full blown cold. Have only done 4,852 steps so think I will not be reaching my goal today. Was chatting to OH earlier and have decided to take one day off a week so today will just be this weeks :rotfl:

So... I may actually be addicted to getting my steps in :rotfl: Plan was to get in bed with OH and watch TV but instead took the dog a walk. Am now up at 12,761 and feeling far more content (but also very cold).Total Debt : ?? / ??0

Productive morning so far
Done a load of washing and given the kitchen a clean. Unsure if it's going to rain so don't know if I can safely peg out or not. Will have a nosey at the weather and see if I can risk it.
Going to clean out the spare room/ OH's study and get ready to go a nice, big walk. Going to the lochs again with OH but need to be back for 2 so will have to get him up and get going soon.
Have just updated my signature and my new total debt is under £1000! I'm so close I actually can't believe it. Old flatmate sent me £250 this morning so I have put that in my savings just now and we'll see if I can pay more off the Santander card later in the month.
Have a lovely day everyone :j
