Pescribed information

One of the previous properties we rented a couple of years ago, the lettings company did not give us the pescribed information in the alloted time. They did send it to us a year later asking us to complete and return it, but they had back dated it! I did not return it nor did they ask for it.
How do I go about claiming for this?

Well as they backdated it they can just say you refused to return it. If they have the proof they sent it to you your claim would fail as you can't prove your claim but they can prove theirs.

That's why I suggested this thread be moved ... there are certain things a tenant can claim if a landlord (or their agent) doesn't supply legally-required documents.

More details are needed, but the OP can potentially claim back the rent they've paid, in addition to 3x the deposit if it wasn't protected within the time limit.

But yes, this should be reposted in the housing board with full details of what was/wasn't provided and a timeline.
