    On the paperwork they sent you, is the make, model and colour of the car exactly the same as yours?

    I suspect the printout from the DVLA states this and its up to the operator to clarify in his own mind , rather than copy/paste from the dvla reply

    From the paper, the registration number is correct but they didnt mention a model of it but when I clicked on their site to find if they have photos (usually on the council website they show photos BUT they dont have photos provided). Strangely, they mentioned the right model on PCS website. I am not sure how did it happen.

    @pappa golf

    On the paper said the incedent was near the end of June 2017 in the morning.

    It is the first letter I received regarding this matter. Thanks.

    Hi,

    I just received the PCN a few days ago from PCS and they asked me to pay £120 within 28 days.

    A car was in the South of England at home and there was no one using it on the day and time mentioned. BUT on their letter stated that the car was parked in the North of England. I am not really sure what had happened there but surely it is a mistake.

    I rang them asking for a proof of evidence but their replied was to appeal the case. What should I do and how to write please?

    Thank you for your time of reading this.

    Why have you not simply appealed this to PCS, as per the NEWBIES thread?

    If this was the first letter, this is the NTK and it tells you how to appeal.
    PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Hi,

    Thank you for your reply. I just sent email to SR security asking them to cancel the PCN with PCS. Also requested details and photos. Did I do the right thing? OR should I also have to contact PCS? Please advise? Thanks a lot.
