Has anyone any idea how to reclaim from a council when you pay your water rates direct to them? I've been reading about councils overcharging & not passing on payments from water companies?

Do you have any evidence that you have been overcharged?0

You can ring the Consumer Council for Water for advice; https://www.ccwater.org.uk/ or raise it with your local councillor.0 -
It's not about being overcharged for the water, it's the fact that they charge an admin fee to tenants for collecting the money, plus they are receiving massive payments from the water companies that should be passed on to the tenants & most councils aren't passing it on0
