When I delete them they just appear back.
I also have a 99+ emails in the Unread box going back to 2014 !!
When I read them they also appear back...........
Anybody any ideas whats up ??

What email provider and what app are you using to view them?0

Saved on your server so they will be visible.
Delete them and then delete them from the deleted folder or recycle bin, i have over 400 in mine

It can take a while for the phone to sync with the mail server...
Even in googles gmail app it sometimes takes a good 5 to 20 mins for any mail I've read / deleted on my mobile to sync with Gmails server.
Also their is usually the odd email that refuses to be marked or deleted till I actually do it on the server.Laters

Depending on your Android version, under email settings you will have an option to either
Delete on the phone only (fine if you only use POP email)
Delete on phone and server (necessary if you use IMAP mail) or
Prompt, so that you can choose each time.
Yours must currently be set for phone only.0 -
I don't usually delete data from my phone with removed manually ,because I've tried many times before, some data can't be completely erase from Android phone , and they are easily recovered, you can use some tools to delete it from your phone .
At least , the data eraser tool can be used to delete everything from Android phone ,
That won't solve the problem and is a different issue.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

You don't say which app you are using to retrieve your emails, but, I would try another one before sweating any major changes.
Try BlueMail or K9 if that works then just delete the accounts from whatever app you are now using.
Or, you could try just deleting the accounts and re-entering them.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you
