However, having looked after the property incredibly well and cleaning thoroughly before I left. I was sent a bill for £144 for “oven, hob and washing machine drawer cleaning”. I knew this was out of order, so arranged with them that I would sort the professional clean myself. It cost me less than half the quote givem and I sent the invoice and photos.
This is the bit I don't understand. You looked after the property incredibly well and cleaned thoroughly before you left, so why was a further clean necessary? You should have simply disputed the whole cleaning cost.It's nothing , not nothink.0 -
Hi Parkrunner. Well, I’m an honest person - we’d cleaned well, had fulfilled all duties, repainting bits of walls where necessary. But we had omitted to clean the inside of the oven, and the hob top was cleaned but clearly not to a satisfactory standard. It was a very minor thing, but I had no qualms at all about that being picked up on in the checkout report. It’s sorted!0
