Bought in 1969 £3250 sold in 1973 for £6500 (exH lived there & it was a mess) sold recently for £200k. But it is over double the size it was, now has a garage & the area is even more desirable now than it was then as the 3 best schools in the area are within walking distance (well for me, maybe not now).
Actually I was surprised the increase wasn't more as the houses in that area were always double the prices in some other local catchment areas.0 -
