Selling my car after specific date

Should I reject the deposit, and only take the full amount on a first-come-first-serve basis,
Do you expect someone to pay £5000+ for the car but they only get ownership in December?
How do they know you will not sell to somebody else as well.
or disappear with the car
or damage the car before then?
Of course not - but if they see the car, agree with the price at £5,000, then they will be first in line to purchase the car on the sale date. Should they decide they actually want to reduce their offer on the day, that's their choice. I don't even want to do deposits, let alone take the cash upfront! It makes my job of selling the car more difficult. If they decide they only want to pay half the price on the day, and I've taken my ad down just for them, I have to relist and hope I get a buyer within a shorter period of time.Ditto for agreeing on a price when the condition could change.
Are you saying you only need the car on a Saturday from 7:30am? Are you sure you can't just use a taxi?
I wish I could - it's a 130 odd mile round trip every Saturday.0
