CEL County Court Claim form received

Look closely Wanderer, and you will see that Shahbaaz's defence has been given the nod a few minutes ago.
Maybe that defence would be a good starting point for you?0 -
Are these changes not making it more difficult for these companies? Since I received all correspondence prior to October, other than the County Court Claim form received today, does this make a difference?0

Thanks for the headsup Keithp x0

Yes.wanderer2426 wrote: »Are these changes not making it more difficult for these companies?
But the date the claim was issued is the important one.wanderer2426 wrote: »Since I received all correspondence prior to October, other than the County Court Claim form received today, does this make a difference?
What is the date on your claim form?0 -

correct
thay have failed to send any LBC and probably failed with their POC as well ( ie- their POC you received probably fails to give all the details now required , such as docuuments , paperwork , photos , evidence etc , whatever those new protcols require)
therefore, if they have failed those protocols it is thought that the initial judge may throw the claim out due to their failures
so yes its more difficult for them , as explained by bargepole here

Claim form is 11/10/17. Who would the LBC need to come from?0
-
The Letter Before Claim should come from the claimant.
If you haven't received a LBC then make a note of that and list it amongst all the other claimant's failings.
Do not let this failing stop your process.
Acknowledge the Service and on with your defence.0 -
So I got a 'Formal Letter of Claim' from Wright Hassall solicitors in June, I'm hoping this doesn't count as LBC then and that I can go ahead with my defence?0
-
Whether that letter was a LBC or not matters little now. You have a claim form.wanderer2426 wrote: »So I got a 'Formal Letter of Claim' from Wright Hassall solicitors in June, I'm hoping this doesn't count as LBC then and that I can go ahead with my defence?
Yes, press on with your defence.0 -

the chances are that it was the LBC , even though it was months ago
as mentioned above , what matters NOW is the current MCOL and writing the defence document0
